A Journey Through History

Once Upon A Time...

a young artist was born. Before they had talent, experience, or anything to their name, Zachary had love all around them. Scroll through their past to see how it shaped their future.

This is a dramatic recreation of Zachary’s life. While there are certainly more stories that could be told, more memories that could be shared, and more scenes with more characters that could be drawn from the real life play, they’ve opted instead to hand select the highlights for you.

Clothes serve many purposes in our lives. They give us control of our modesty. They protect us from all different kinds of weather. They allow us to express ourselves. None of this mattered to young Zachary. If he wasn’t in a diaper, or later underwear, he was probably in a costume. Zachary loved to dress up and play pretend long before he ever considered acting, but he clearly wouldn’t figure out how to coordinate an ensemble of clothing or costume pieces until a little later. This piece was unnamed, and was not publicly presented but once, but it is still good to this day for a chuckle.

Zachary’s dad played lots of guitar, and loved every style of Rock played from the 60’s to the 90’s. While other unborn babies were being played Mozart to develop their tiny brains, fetus Zach was being played ACDC. While he would develop a love of classical music later, Zachary loved Rock before he was even big enough to strum a guitar. Well, he picked that up pretty fast, but the actual playing notes part took a lot longer.

Wait, graduation already?! What about all the fun misadventures in-between 4 and 22? Don’t worry, we’ll fill in the blanks later.
After changing majors, taking a gap year, transferring universities and changing majors again, Zachary finally did it! In spring of 2023, they graduated from West Texas A&M University Cum Laude with a B.F.A in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. The world was finally at their fingertips, but where to go from here? The future was uncertain, but the summer was not!
